Narushimayaki is originated in Yonezewa 200 years ago. It was once declined but Satoshi Mizuno, a potter who learned making Karatsuyaki and Hagiyaki pottery revitalized it as “Yonezawayaki”. The sand from local region is used and they feature weighty and profound appearance with the beautiful color contrast of black, white and blue.
